where ever you go there you are

i heard that saying for the first time in the paper's sunday comics.
another good one is "if you're not happy where you are, you'll never be happy anywhere." this is a wide world full of wonderful treats. but all too often we take our own little bit of it for granted. much much too often. the pretty colors we check on the surf forecasts that tell us where the fun is, are visual representations of the pulse of the ocean; the salty blood of the earth is the seawater. people and their rubbish are fatty little artery-clogging pieces of nasty. so no matter where you are, take care.

walking up the beach after some time in the blue, do not step over that piece of trash lying there.
do not look at it and be disgusted with someone else.
and most of all do not pretend you don't see it .
pick it up on your way, throw it away yourself, do more than your bit because the smarter ones have to make up for the greater number of the dumb.
